Article list types

By default a content area will display a list of any articles it contains at the bottom of the page. You can change how this article list is displayed in the content area This decides whether you have small or large thumbnail images or if a summary is shown.

The selection of list types is located on the edit page for the content area.

Articles listed by title

Lists articles, in article number order just by their title

Articles listed with summary

Lists articles, in article number order with titles and summaries.

Articles listed with summary with large images

Lists articles, in article number order with titles and summaries but with larger images.

Articles listed with summary in 2 columns

Lists articles in two columns, in article number order with summaries.

News headlines

Shows the articles by title with date in date order - recognised by the newsmenu component

News with summary

As above, but with summary. Again recognised by the newsmenu component.

News with summary and picture

As above, but with the addition of the article picture or icon. Again recognised by the newsmenu component.

Articles in full as pages

The content areas page will show one article in full with page numbering for subsequent articles in article number order.

Articles in full listed together

All articles are shown in full one after the other on the content areas pages as a long page

Webblog

Long list of full items, shown in full in date order.

Simple Discussion Forum

Discussion forum shown in date of last post order. No threading shown (although you can switch to threaded view and threads will have been maintained).

Threaded Discussion Forum

Discussion forum shown by thread with threading shown with indentation, so you can read posts in the context of who was replying to what more easily.

Gallery

Gallery of individupictures. Pictures added to the Gallery as logos are automatically scaled to be seen on the page.

Gallery with themes

A Gallery which allows you to start themes and then add pictures by theme.

Classified Ads

Simple to use advertising area to allow you to add simple adverts with pictures and details. Will integrate with shop to allow you to sell classified advertising space eventually.
